Pigeons in Venice

We went to Venice during the first week in October. One afternoon Linda and I were walking around St Marks church and I thought that I should get some touristy photos of the hordes of pigeons hang around and how they land on all the people. It tokk me awhile to gather the concept that the pigeons didn't just randomly land on rest on the tourist but that the tourists would be holding food in their hands as a way to get them to come to them. DUH! At first I folled two little boys around because the pigons were all over them and it wasn't until one of the little boys came over and gave me some bird food that I clued in.
