Christmas Stocking

This year instead of getting a real tree for our humble Italian abode Erin offered to crochet us all christmas stockings to hang on our bedroom doors. It was a very wonderful and sweet offer on her part to make. Since I seem to be the cheesiest Christmas roomate Erin took pity on me and knitted mine first. It's huge. She made it that way because she said Santa will be putting in lots of hot sausage, which I love, and some clemintines. We buy the yarn and she does all the work....somehow that doesn't seem fair. Actually if you look closely at the one picture you can see the lovely christmas lights that Linda and I hung today along with a beautiful poinsetta on the dining room table....those were my contribution to Christmas so far. I love my stocking and my roomates are the bestest.
